I recently stayed at a hotel in a charmless resort, but the location was great. The hotel complex was just a 5-minute walk uphill from the seafront and had a roof terrace with a swimming pool. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a variety of options to choose from. The staff was helpful and nice, making my stay enjoyable. The room had a nice view and was clean and tidy.
The kitchenette in my room was useless due to the lack of supplied kitchen equipment.
